Kilometer-Long Traffic Jams at Upper Lars

Hundreds of cars arriving from Russia have once again found themselves stuck in kilometer-long traffic jams at the "Upper Lars" border checkpoint.

The significant influx of vehicles is linked to the May holidays, with many tourists traveling from various regions of Russia to Georgia and Armenia, as noted by the Russian "First Channel".

It is also reported that tourists are waiting at the border for over 10 hours. Many of them believe that the cause of the situation is the lack of sufficient personnel on the Georgian side of the border checkpoint.

The Russian authorities are warning their citizens about the situation at the border and asking them to refrain from using the "Upper Lars" route if possible.
