Major Car Accident in Ararat Leaves Injured

A major car accident occurred today, on May 2, in the Ararat region. Around 14:00, on the 33 km stretch of the Yerevan-Eraskh highway, two vehicles collided in the administrative area of Shahumyan village: an Opel with license plate 35 TM 935 and a KAMAZ-5511 with license plate K 665 УУ 196 RUS.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, the driver and passenger of the Opel sustained bodily injuries. They received first aid at the scene from doctors who arrived from the Artashat Hospital and were then transported to the 'Artashat' Medical Center.

The police are investigating the identities of the drivers and the injured passenger.
