Surenyans Announces the End of Frost Threat
“As the recent cold weather has passed and temperatures have begun to rise significantly, we can confirm an important fact: this year, there were no frost occurrences in the republic's valley and pre-mountain areas. The only exception was the Goris region, where negative temperatures were recorded in the last 3-4 days.
Starting today, we can consider the threat of frost to be over, as temperatures are expected to continue to rise in the coming days. From April 26-28, temperatures across the entire republic will gradually increase by another 5-6 degrees,” wrote Gagik Surenyan, head of the meteorological center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, on his Facebook page.
