Artsakh Defense Army Responds to Shelling Accusations of Chiraghli Village
Information circulated by certain Azerbaijani media alleging that between 5:30 PM on April 24 and 3:20 PM on April 25, Armenian frontline forces fired bursts towards the Chiraghli village located in the eastern sector of the contact line, during which several girls aged 4 to 13 were reportedly in the yard of a house under shelling, is nothing but another piece of disinformation.
This was stated in a message disseminated by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh.
The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh not only categorically denies the information disseminated by the Azerbaijani side, but also qualifies it as provocative. The ministry expresses its readiness to provide videos, recorded by observation systems that depict the situation in those sectors, to the public at large if necessary.
At the same time, the command of the armed forces of Artsakh calls on the Azerbaijani side to refrain from artificially escalating the situation along the contact line and to continue to maintain a constructive stance, while adhering to the letter and spirit of the ceasefire regime.
