VIDEO: Loans Obtained Using Other Citizens' Documents

The Investigative Department of Shengavit administrative district in Yerevan is taking measures to identify individuals who have allegedly committed fraud in connection with ongoing criminal proceedings.

During 2018, several citizens reported to various divisions of the RA Police that individuals had, through abuse of trust and deception, committed apparent crimes using their documents to arrange loans at different banks and credit organizations, resulting in property damage.

Criminal cases have been initiated regarding the fraudulent activities and consolidated into one proceeding, which is being investigated by the Investigation Committee of the Republic of Armenia in the Shengavit administrative district.

During the investigation, footage from ATM security cameras documenting cash withdrawal transactions has been secured and examined.

To ensure a comprehensive, objective, and thorough investigation of the criminal case, measures are being taken to identify the individuals depicted in the video.

We ask the mentioned individuals to present themselves to the investigative body, or anyone who recognizes them or has any information about their identity or whereabouts to report it to the Investigative Department of Shengavit administrative district in Yerevan.
