Ukrainian President's Income Surpasses Even Saudi Royalty

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko declared an income of 856 million hryvnias in January 2019, and from February 1 to March 1, he reported an additional 280.4 million hryvnias. According to Politica.com.ua, he is considered the world's richest president.

The publication states that during his tenure, the President should not engage in business activities, but this is not the case for Poroshenko. In just two months of 2019, his income totaled 1 billion hryvnias. Such income is even higher than that of the world's wealthiest royal, Saudi Arabia's Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
