I Will Fight to Bring the Truth to Light, the Prime Minister Must Know: Hayk Ayvazyan

As previously reported, on April 1, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan dismissed Hayk Ayvazyan, the head of the Coordination Office for the Activities of Inspecting Bodies. Several days have passed since his dismissal, but Ayvazyan is still unaware of the reasons behind it.

In an interview with "Haykakan Zhamanak," Ayvazyan stated that he can only speculate about his dismissal, as no reasons have been presented to him. Prior to this, there had been no discussions or hints regarding his departure.

"No one from the administration, or even from the leadership, has officially informed me of the basis for my dismissal," Ayvazyan told the media. According to circulating information, the reason for his dismissal is disagreements with the head of the Prime Minister's office, Edward Aghajanyan.

The media tried to clarify with Ayvazyan whether the reports of a conflict with Aghajanyan are true. "If there was a conflict, it would not have been related to practical matters. Unfortunately, it is a serious issue for the government when people associate practical matters with personal ones," he noted.

Ayvazyan did not rule out the possibility that his dismissal might have been pre-planned, as a new head was appointed on the very same day.

"I hope that my dismissal was planned in advance; otherwise, I would have to say that uncontrollable things are happening in our country. I will fight to bring the truth to light, so that the Prime Minister knows what is happening internally, and ultimately understand the reasons for my dismissal," the former head of the Inspection Bodies Office expressed indignantly.
