Azerbaijani Counterpart Avoiding Armenian Defense Minister Claims to Meet in Yerevan if Armenians Attack
The Azerbaijani army has no issues with supply or weaponry, as it can resume military operations at any moment. This was stated today by Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov, responding to Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan's remarks that the Armenian side is changing its tactics, and if a new war occurs, new territories will be liberated.
According to Shantnews.am, the Azerbaijani Defense Minister has displayed pettiness, using personal labels while speaking about Tonoyan. He also commented on the potential outcomes of a new war.
"If they were to take offensive action, I would meet him (Tonoyan) in Yerevan," said Hasanov.
The media outlet notes that Hasanov regularly has the opportunity to meet with Armenia's Defense Minister but avoids such encounters even physically. Each time they are photographed with the CIS ministers, Hasanov leaves the Azerbaijani flag and stands away from the Armenian official.
