Two Russian Su-30s Purchased by Armenia with Cash: Who Paid?

The newspaper "Zhamanak" reports that, according to its sources, the Armenian government paid cash for two of the four Su-30 military aircraft purchased from Russia, while the other two will be acquired through loans.

The cash funds came from voluntary mandatory payments made to the Ministry of Defense by oligarchs, including Alexander Sargsyan, the brother of former President Serzh Sargsyan. The specific amount of these payments remains undisclosed.
