Certain Regions Inaccessible: Yerevan-Sevan Highway Closed for Trucks
The Ministry of Emergency Situations has reported that as of March 30 at 15:50, there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the territory of Armenia.
The Vardenyan Pass is closed.
The dilijan bends are closed for trucks.
From the 16th kilometer, the Yerevan-Sevan highway is closed for trucks.
The roads of Sotk-Karvachar, Kajaran-Goris, the Hrazdan region of Kotayk Province, and the roads in Tavush and Lori provinces, as well as the area called "Meghri Mountain," are difficult to pass.
There is black ice on the roads of Lanjik-Mastar and intercommunity roads of Aparan and Aragats in Aragatsotn Province, as well as in the Amasia and Ashotsk areas of Shirak Province.
In Kotayk Province, in the Dilijan bends, and in cities like Goris in Syunik Province, Sevan, Chambarak in Gegharkunik Province, Jermuk in Vayots Dzor Province, Aparan in Aragatsotn Province, and Talin, there are snowfalls in the region of Aragats, along the Artik-Alagyaz highway, and in the areas of Saravan-"Zanger" and "Meghri Mountain."
There is a snowstorm on the Artik-Alagyaz highway.
In Goris and Kajaran of Syunik Province, as well as in the area called "Meghri Mountain," fog has been observed.
Drivers are advised to travel only with winter tires.
