Meeting between Pashinyan and Aliyev Concludes
The meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev regarding the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict concluded in Vienna.
It is noted that the two leaders refrained from commenting on the meeting; however, Pashinyan did mention to Russian news agency TASS while getting into his car that the meeting went well, while Aliyev urged to wait for a statement from the co-chairs of the Minsk Group. He specifically stated that the co-chairs will say everything.
Local journalist Tatoul Hakobyan reported that there were 4 media representatives from Armenia and 1 from Azerbaijan present at the meeting.
The Baghramyan 26 Telegram channel reports that Pashinyan was the first to exit after the meeting. After taking several selfies with those gathered, he left. The Azerbaijani president also departed at the end of the meeting, but, as noted by the Telegram channel, there were no waiting journalists. He did not answer reporters' questions. The Pashinyan-Aliyev meeting lasted for 3.5 hours.
