Armen Ashotyan's Fresh Response to the Pashinyan-Aliev Meeting Today
The Vice President of the Republican Party of Armenia, Armen Ashotyan, addressed the meeting between Pashinyan and Aliyev that took place today, March 29, in Vienna, on his Facebook page.
“My fresh response to today’s Pashinyan-Aliyev meeting:
- There is no record regarding Nikol Pashinyan’s promise to make Artsakh a negotiating party.
- There are at least two significant content differences between the statements from the co-chairs and the Armenian Government’s press office.
- Once again, the mention of the need to implement agreements from Vienna, Saint Petersburg, and Geneva is absent.
- The mention of the principles of settlement is missing. It is unclear what happened to the promises made in Stepanakert regarding the necessity to clarify the three principles and six elements of the settlement.
- What is the basis for Aliyev’s positive evaluation?
I will speak in more detail about this in a live broadcast tomorrow,” he wrote.
