Always Remember That Power Is a Means to an End: Galust Sahakyan

In a conversation with journalists at the Yerablur Pantheon, former National Assembly Speaker and member of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Galust Sahakyan, stated that there will come a time when new elections will be held, and the Republican Party will showcase its capabilities before the people.

When asked if the RPA had ever deviated from the ideology of Ashot Navasardyan during its 20 years in power, Galust Sahakyan responded: "Always think that power is a means to an end. In our country, party politics have developed in such a way that our people believe that everyone should be a member of some party. Ashot Navasardyan's approaches to the independence of the country and its future fate were natural, and he was able to implement this approach for our time, and today we live in an independent Armenia."
