Sureng Papikyan Instructs Governors to Strengthen Political Positions
"Fact" newspaper reports that recently a closed discussion took place in the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures, where Minister Suren Papikyan instructed governors to strengthen their political positions in their respective regions by ensuring maximum subordination of community leaders.
Papikyan stated that this is a specific directive from the Prime Minister, aimed at ensuring that the ruling party's team is highly active and centralized in the regions. Therefore, governors have been instructed to be particularly attentive in communities where local elections are expected in May and June, personally engaging in the campaigning process.
The governors are expected to take a cue from Prime Minister Pashinyan and actively support the "favorite" candidates through their presence and speeches.
