Armenia Technically Ready for Visa Liberalization with EU Countries
Armenia and the European Union continue to deepen cooperation in the direction of visa liberalization. This was stated by Ruben Rubinyan, Chairman of the National Assembly's Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, during an event titled 'Armenia on the Road to Europe' organized by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. He emphasized that the initiation of dialogue concerning the visa liberalization process is very important in this context.
“It is important to note that relevant officials from the European Union recently announced their support for the commencement of this dialogue, as well as declared that Armenia is technically ready for it. Now this issue is more political and related to the political decision of the EU member states. We are actively working in this direction, collaborating with the EU member states to ensure that the dialogue begins as soon as possible. We believe this will be an important message for the Armenian people and a significant message for all peoples striving for and achieving democracy,” concluded Rubinyan.
