VIDEO: Were the Perpetrators of the Brawl on Arshakunyats Avenue from the Police?

It has already been reported that a brawl broke out on Arshakunyats Avenue after a car accident. In this regard, Sergey Ghahramanyan, co-founder of the NGO "Driver’s Friend," made a post on his Facebook page and shared a video.

He specifically wrote: "Here’s what happens when drivers lose their limits and vigilance and drive on the avenue as if it were their backyard. Anything can happen in this area, and people ultimately resort to self-justice, trying to resolve issues through what is colloquially called 'samосуд' (self-justice)."

"Since the introduction of the mandatory insurance system, such incidents have practically disappeared, but alas, it appears not. I believe this should serve as a basis for the traffic police and the police to be even stricter and not let any minor violation go unpunished. Once a minor violator is not fined, they begin to provoke, leading to such incidents."

Witnesses have stated that the fighters were from the police, which should be punished very severely; such an attitude is inexcusable."
