Vahan Shirazhanian Interrogated by Special Investigative Service, Upholds Statements on Robert Kocharian

The former Deputy Minister of Defense Vahan Shirazhanian has already been interrogated by the Special Investigative Service of Armenia. He confirmed this information to Aravot.am. Shirazhanian stated that materials are being prepared regarding one of the episodes of his open letter addressed to Robert Kocharian, specifically concerning the 1998 elections.

According to Vahan Shirazhanian, he was questioned only about that particular episode, and no inquiries were made regarding other points of the letter. He mentioned that he cannot disclose any further details at this time. Additionally, the head of the NSS, Arthur Vanetsyan, recently announced that the NSS is reviewing the contents of the letter.
