Snowdrifts, Black Ice, Closed Roads: The Situation on Armenia's Roads
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of March 24, at 21:00, there are closed and difficult-to-pass roadways in the territory of Armenia.
The Vardenyats Pass is closed due to snowdrifts.
The Sotk-Karvachar roadway is passable only for passenger vehicles.
There is black ice and snowdrifts on the Talin-Lanjik-Mastara road, while in the regions of Ashotik and Amasia in Shirak province, there is only snowdrift.
In Shirak province, snow is falling in the cities of Aparan, Talin in Ararat Province, Charentsavan, Hrazdan, Yeghvard, Berd and Dilijan in Tavush province, and in the areas known as "Megrui Sar" and "Zanger" in Syunik province.
Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

According to the information received from the Road Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Stepantsminda-Lars roadway is closed to all types of vehicles.
According to the data from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, there are currently 142 vehicles accumulated on the Russian side, of which 115 are trucks and 27 are passenger cars.
Construction Works in Progress
From June 30, 2018, to March 24 of this year, construction work is being conducted at kilometer 139 of the Yerevan-Meghri road, resulting in a approximately 200-meter section being closed to one-way traffic.
