Current Conditions on Roads in Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of March 24, at 08:30, there are impassable roads in the territory of Armenia.

The Vardenyats Pass is impassable only for trucks with trailers, while the Sotk-Kegharchik road is impassable for trucks only.

In the Shirak region, it is snowing in the districts of Amasia and Ashotsk, and in the Tavush region, in the cities of Berd and Noyemberyan.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

According to information from the Road Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Stepanstminda-Larsi road is closed for all types of vehicles.

Construction Work is Ongoing

From June 30, 2018, until March 24 this year, construction work is being carried out on the 139th km of the Yerevan-Meghri highway, causing approximately 200 m of the road to be closed in one direction.
