73-Year-Old Citizen's Greenhouse Found with Over 13 kg of Cannabis

The Investigative Division of the Ararat Police Department is preparing materials regarding the large quantity of narcotics discovered on March 22 in the Ararat region. According to Shamshyan.com, citing its own sources, law enforcement officers from the Ararat regional division, the Ararat police department, and the Organized Crime Control Department (6th General Division) carried out a search based on received operational data.

They inspected the yard and existing partially constructed structures belonging to 73-year-old Zhora Avetisyan, a resident of the village of Lusarat in the Ararat region. During the search, 414 cannabis plants were found in one of the buildings being used as a greenhouse, with a total weight of approximately 12 kg 300 g. Additionally, from a clearly visible iron container situated next to the greenhouse, 41 more cannabis plants were discovered, weighing about 1100 g.
