Earthquake with Magnitude 3.9 Recorded in Turkey
An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.9 has been recorded in the Gaziantep province of southern Turkey.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located in the Nurdah neighborhood of Gaziantep, with the focus of the tremor found at a depth of 7.2 kilometers. There have been no reports of casualties or damage.
Two days ago, three earthquakes occurred in a single day in the Malatya province, just north of Gaziantep, with magnitudes of 3.1, 3.6, and 4.1. The day before, a magnitude 5.5 earthquake hit the southwestern province of Denizli, resulting in dozens of injuries and the destruction of numerous homes. It is known that over 800 aftershocks were recorded in the same area within three days following the Denizli earthquake.
