Truck Overturned in Spitak Passes
On March 22, at 10:04 AM, the 911 service received a report of an overturned truck in the Spitak Pass. There are no casualties, but there is a fuel leak, and assistance from rescuers is needed.
A firefighting and rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations has been dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that on March 21, an overturned Scania truck (driver: M. G., born in 1963, a citizen of Georgia) was located at the 18th km of the Spitak-Yerevan section of the M-3 highway. At 10:27 AM, the Spitak “1-03” service reported that the injured individual was hospitalized on March 21, and doctors assessed their health condition as satisfactory.
Rescuers stopped the diesel fuel leak from the tank using a sponge.
From 10:31 AM to 10:40 AM, the rescuers carried out road cleaning operations.
