The NSS Has Never Enjoyed Such Popular Support: Arthur Vanetsyan

During a report on the activities of the National Security Service (NSS) presented at the National Assembly today, NSS Director Arthur Vanetsyan emphasized that the NSS has never had such a high level of trust.

“Analyzing the NSS's activities and the corresponding responses in the new Armenia, I can state that the service has perhaps never had such great trust and enjoyed popular support,” highlighted the NSS Director, adding that evidence of this is reflected in the number of applications, complaints, and petitions directed to the service.

He provided an example, noting that in 2017 there were around 1,200 applications, while from May 2018 until the end of the year, there were over 4,000 applications.
