Snow, Fog, Closed Roads: Situation on Armenia's Highways

As of March 22 at 20:00, there is fog on the Goris-Sisian highway, with visibility reduced to 10-15 meters.

Light snowfall is reported on the highways in the Chambarak region.

According to the information service of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology of Armenia, the Vardenyats Pass is closed to heavy and trailer vehicles.

Road construction teams are carrying out snow clearing and treatment work with salt and sand on the highways.

The other interstate and republican highways in Armenia remain open.
