Blocked and Impassable Roads

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of March 22, at 22:37, there are blocked and impassable roads within the territory of Armenia.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed only for trucks.

The Sotk-Karabagh road is difficult to traverse, again only for trucks.

Snow is falling in the city of Goris, Syunik region.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

According to the Road Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.

Construction Works in Progress

From June 30, 2018, to the present date, construction work is being carried out on the 139th km of the Yerevan-Meghri road, resulting in a roughly 200 m segment being closed from one side.
