Even if I have violated ethics, it's not a big deal. Davit Sanasaryan
The head of the State Revenue Committee, Davit Sanasaryan, writes on his Facebook page:
“Today at the press conference, I said it once and I will say it again, not agreeing with the proceedings initiated by the Ethics Committee and its decision, I am still glad that the committee initiated a case after a long pause (I have seen four or five cases since 2013) against the head of the supervisory authority (I write this with complete sincerity, I do not believe that this same case could have been initiated during the previous administration).
In the new Armenia, no institution should be constrained in exercising its powers.
Even if I have violated ethical norms (I will challenge the committee's decision in court), it’s not a big story; I will draw conclusions. The important thing is the work of the group conducting the research at Yerevan State University, concerning which we are awaiting a legal assessment from law enforcement.
P.S. In the new Armenia, no official can exert pressure on law enforcement and the judiciary, for which we fought and continue to fight. The rule of law is not an alternative for Armenia.
I love you all.”
