Suspect in Dutch Shooting Incident is from Turkey

The Dutch police have arrested a potential perpetrator of the gunfire that erupted in the city of Utrecht. Local law enforcement officials reported this on Twitter.

The suspect, identified as 37-year-old Hekman Tanis, is of Turkish origin. He was apprehended during a special police operation in the Oudenoord area.

It is reported that the shooting resulted in the deaths of 3 individuals, with at least 5 others injured.
