Prime Minister Asks Citizens a Question: Details
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has posted on his Facebook page: "I wear Armenian clothing. What about you?"
The Prime Minister attached a video from a jeans manufacturing facility in Gyumri.
Earlier, we reported that Armenian products are set to replace the Chinese and Turkish goods that dominate the markets. Armenian jeans will be available for sale in a month, featuring the label "Made in Armenia" and produced in Gyumri. This information comes from the official website of the Government of Armenia.
The Zakaryan family has invested $2 million to establish the jeans production here. To ensure quality products, they imported production equipment from abroad, for which they received support from the Government of Armenia. The deadlines for the payment of value-added tax (VAT) amounts calculated by customs and tax authorities have been reduced by three years for the company's imported goods. This has allowed them to save funds, which have been reinvested in purchasing additional equipment.
