Doubts About the State Audit Office Should Not Exist: Division in 'My Step' Faction
'Haykakan Zhamanak' writes that the 'My Step' faction is divided on whether to invite the head of the State Audit Office, Davit Sanasaryan, to report on a well-known controversial incident.
If the majority wants to hear explanations about what actually happened and whether Sanasaryan personally participated in the patronage of 'Zorashen' and the business takeover from a competing company, the active minority, represented by former deputy head of the State Audit Office Tigran Ulikhanyan, who is now a deputy, disagrees. They argue that this would undermine the authority of the organization.
If they show that they doubt the head of an agency operating under the Prime Minister's authority, it would mean that no one would trust this agency anymore. It remains unclear which side will win this struggle.
