Chief of General Staff of Armed Forces Meets with Allied Partners

On March 13, Armed Forces Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Artak Davtyan, held bilateral meetings with allied partners during a working visit to Moscow for the next session of the Committee of Chiefs of Staff of the Armed Forces of the CIS member states.

The meetings included discussions with:

• Major General Oleg Belokonov, First Deputy Minister of Defense and Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus;
• Lieutenant General Murat Maikeyev, First Deputy Minister of Defense and Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan;
• Colonel Nurlan Kireyshev, First Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan;
• Army General Valery Gerasimov, First Deputy Minister of Defense and Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia.

During the meetings, the discussion focused on issues related to further cooperation and development prospects of the armed forces within the framework of the CIS.
