Text Sent in Advance to Nikol Pashinyan and Ilham Aliyev: "Pasta"
According to the "Pasta" newspaper, the text of the statement released last week by the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group has not caused any particular surprise or excitement among the authorities of Armenia, even though it sparked serious discussions and speculations in the media.
The reason is that, according to the "Pasta" newspaper's sources, the text was sent in advance to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev before its publication. It is worth noting that this is dictated by diplomatic protocol.
It should be mentioned that in the history of the OSCE Minsk Group (since 1992), the Azerbaijani side has never welcomed the texts of the co-chairs' statements, and the statement published on March 9 was the first of its kind, raising some concerns within Armenian political and academic circles.
