Offensive Scenario Exercises: Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense
Azerbaijan's armed forces are conducting large-scale exercises from March 11 to 15, as previously reported.
The exercises involve up to 10,000 soldiers, 500 tanks and armored vehicles, including special equipment, 300 units of various caliber missile-artillery and multiple launch rocket systems, mortars, and 20 units of combat aviation. Military experts note that the exercises are being carried out under an offensive scenario.
The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has issued a statement saying:
"During the exercises, the troops are implementing offensive operations, preparing to strike the conditional enemy in several directions, breaking through its defenses and destroying military formations, as well as delivering missile-artillery strikes on the enemy's military and strategic defense facilities. Simultaneously, live-fire exercises are being conducted at training centers and combined-arms firing ranges, using new weapon systems, including the actual launch of missiles," the statement from the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reads.
