Current Road Conditions

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of March 11, at 20:00, there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads throughout Armenia.

The Sotk-Karvachar road is closed for vehicles with trailers.

There are patches of black ice in the Vardenyats Pass and along the Sotk-Karvachar road.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.

About Larsi

According to information from the Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is open for all types of vehicles.

Ongoing Construction Works

Construction work is underway on the Vanadzor-Alaverdi road from the 39th km to Bagratashen.

Alternative routes for transport traffic have been established:

Intra-community traffic to the cities of Alaverdi, Vanadzor, and nearby settlements should take the following routes:

• Vanadzor-Stepanavan-Agarak-Koghes-Aygehut-Odzun-Alaverdi sections towards the Georgian border.

Since June 30, 2018, construction works have been ongoing at the 139th km of the Yerevan-Meghri road, resulting in a one-sided closure of a segment approximately 200 meters long.
