Police Denies Report about Head of 6th Division Destroying Evidence

The newspaper "Zhamanak" has published an article titled "Head of the Police's 6th Division Destroyed Evidence." The article specifically mentions that information emerged yesterday in the media regarding the burning of a newly appointed director's car in a bus station.

According to media reports, the Chief of Police of the Republic of Armenia, Valeri Osipyan, immediately instructed the head of the 6th Division, Arsen Ayvazyan, to handle the case, but instead of uncovering the crime, he allegedly destroyed the evidence.

This information does not correspond to reality. The directive from Valeri Osipyan was given to the territorial unit.

It should also be noted that within the framework of the mentioned case, examinations of goods and fire-technical expertise have already been appointed.
