New Details Emerge After Child's Sudden Death in Yerevan Kindergarten
On the night of March 4, a 3-year-old girl passed away at the "Arabkir" Medical Center, and according to my information, she had not suffered from any previous illnesses. This was reported to NEWS.am by Marianna Grigoryan, the director of Yerevan’s No. 153 kindergarten.
It should be noted that the girl was transferred to the hospital from this kindergarten.
The media reports that Marianna Grigoryan stated the child had been attending their kindergarten since September, enrolled in the toddlers' group. “We did not hear any complaints from the child; she neither fell ill nor felt unwell. She was a very lively and active child. On March 4, the teacher took her as usual, laid the children down for a nap, and monitored them. After 15 minutes of sleeping, she heard the child making noises, then turned to see the girl vomiting. They turned the child over and saw she was weak. The on-site nurse provided first aid, and then we called the parents,” the kindergarten director recounted.
It is recalled that on March 4, at 15:20, the police received a report that a child born in 2015 had been brought to the emergency department of Arabkir Medical Center with cardiac arrest from the kindergarten on Lepsusi Street. At 23:30, the hospital reported that the child had died. A forensic examination has been appointed, the circumstances of the incident are being clarified, and an investigation is underway.
