Man Voluntarily Surrenders Uncle's Ammunition

Thanks to the explanatory work of the special forces of the Sevan police department, Vahagn M., born in 1982, voluntarily surrendered his uncle's ammunition. This was reported by the Police of the Republic of Armenia. The incident occurred on March 4.

He surrendered a "IZH" type, 16 mm caliber single-barrel smoothbore hunting rifle, 3 "F-1" type grenades without detonators, 3 homemade grenades without detonators, 3 objects resembling smoke grenades without any markings, 3 grenade detonators, 18 cartridges of 7.62 mm caliber, and 38 cartridges of 5.45 mm caliber, a signaling flare cartridge, an object resembling a homemade firing device, and 92 grams of a black substance resembling gunpowder for a submachine gun.

Vahagn M. reported that he found the ammunition on March 4 while performing renovation work on the roof of their house; the ammunition belonged to his deceased uncle, who had acquired it during the Artsakh Liberation War from the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh.
