Road Closures and Difficult Passes in Armenia: Emergency Situations Ministry

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of 08:00 on March 4, there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the territory of Armenia.

The Vardenyats Pass and Berd-Jambarak roads are closed.

The Sotk-Karmiraghbyur (for heavy vehicles) and Goris-Sisian (snowstorm) roads are difficult to navigate.

In the Aragatsotn region, there are patches of black ice on intercommunity roads in Chkna, Dzoraglukh, Ara, Vardenut, Kuchak, Tsaghkasheny, and regions of Aragats. Similarly, in Shirak province, intercommunity roads in the Ashotsk region are affected by black ice.

Snowfall is reported in the Vayots Dzor and Syunik regions.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
