Murder in Yerevan: Body of 50-Year-Old Man Found Shot in Heart and Leg

On March 4, a murder involving the use of a firearm occurred in Yerevan. Around 12:45 AM, the Kanaker-Zeytun police department received a report that there was a man's body in the yard of house number 32 on Sarkavag street.

According to the preliminary conclusion of the forensic examiner, he died from gunshot wounds—one to the heart and another to the leg.

A criminal case has been initiated in the Kanaker-Zeytun investigative division under Article 104, Part 1, and Article 235, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.

According to G. Shamshyan's information, the police are searching for 42-year-old Armen Muradyan, a resident of Sarkavag street, as a suspect in the murder, who, as per G. Shamshyan's information, is the neighbor of the deceased.
