The Forest Is Our Wealth: Statement by the 'Tavush Without Mines' Initiative
The 'Tavush Without Mines' Facebook group has stated: 'Today, forests cover 8-10 percent of Armenia's territory. In Tavush, forests make up over half of the region, approximately 51 percent.'
'The forest is our wealth; there will be no mining at the expense of Tavush's forests.'
