Narek Malyan Dumps Coins Collected for Anna Hakobyan’s Foundation Before the Chairman of Yerevan State University Board

As previously reported, a discussion regarding the dismissal of Rector Aram Simonian was set to take place today at Yerevan State University (YSU).

The meeting has now commenced and is not proceeding without controversy. Narek Malyan, who organized protests in support of Aram Simonian, emptied a box full of coins he had collected for the foundation of Prime Minister’s wife Anna Hakobyan before Gevorg Muradyan, the chairman of the meeting.

Before throwing the coins, Narek Malyan stated, “This money should be given to Hakobyan, don’t keep it for yourselves!” The chairman of the meeting then instructed the security personnel to maintain safety regulations during the session. The meeting is ongoing, with board members currently delivering speeches.
