Misinformation Regarding March 1 Events: History Textbooks to Be Revised, Says Arayik Harutyunyan

A commission has been established by my order, involving history specialists from universities and schools, and discussions are currently underway in this regard. This was stated today by the Minister of Education, Arayik Harutyunyan, during a conversation with journalists after a closed meeting with the ‘My Step’ faction in the National Assembly, addressing the observation that there is an opinion that the history of March 1 is distorted in textbooks and needs to be revised.

“After certain solutions, they will present their conclusions,” said the minister, adding that indeed, “misinformation has been conveyed” regarding the events of March 1.
