Leader of Norq Armed Group Transferred to Hospital in Serious Condition
Moments ago, Arthur Vardanyan, the leader of the Norq armed group, was transferred to the Mikhailyan Surgical Institute under enhanced police supervision from a correctional facility, reports Shamshyan.com.
According to the website's information, he is in serious condition and may remain under medical supervision for several days, and may require surgery if necessary.
It is noteworthy that according to a statement released by the National Security Service (NSS), Arthur Valeriki Vardanyan, born in 1981 and residing in Spain since 1997, established and led a criminal organization in 2015 with the intent to commit serious and particularly serious crimes in Armenia. He recruited mainly 19 unemployed Armenian citizens.
A criminal case has been initiated in the NSS investigative department based on parts 1 and 2 of Article 223 and part 3 of Article 235 of the RA Criminal Code, and an investigation is underway.
