Why Sasun Mikayelyan Does Not Attend Faction Meetings

And do you meet with Aram Sargsyan? ‘Always. We have relationships at a very high level; I have no moral right to treat that family otherwise. I have stated before that if Aram Sargsyan puts forward his candidacy, we will never compete against each other, I will never put forward my candidacy. First, Aram Sargsyan announced that he would not put forward his candidacy. I know one thing: Aram should be a member of the Union of Volunteers' board, and I will do everything for that.’

Is Sasun Mikayelyan, perhaps, in opposition to ‘My Step’? ‘Sasun Mikayelyan is the only person in ‘My Step’ who is not in opposition.’ But why don’t you attend faction meetings? ‘There hasn’t been time—I haven’t participated; or, what serious issue has been voted on in the faction that I haven’t been there for? If there is a serious issue, of course I will participate, don’t hold that against me.’
