The Same Homeless Family Continues to Live in the Prime Minister's House: Vladimir Karapetyan
The same homeless family that has been living in the apartment of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in the Shengavit district of Yerevan since last July continues to stay there. This was reported to Aysor.am by the Prime Minister's spokesperson, Vladimir Karapetyan.
In an interview with the media, Karapetyan added that this is a matter of the Prime Minister's personal life and he does not have further details.
It is noteworthy that after moving to the governmental residence, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan allocated his apartment to a homeless family.
The Prime Minister’s wife, Anna Hakobyan, mentioned in a conversation with Armenpress that the family members had approached her with several issues, one of which was their housing situation.
“In that family, there is a 23-year-old boy with Down syndrome. There is no man in the family, only the grandmother, mother, and children. The mother solely supports their livelihood. Previously, they were living in an apartment under the patronage of a church, but the owner decided to sell the apartment. There was an urgent need to provide them with a new place to live,” Anna Hakobyan stated.
