Who Will Become the Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs? Intense Competition
According to the newspaper 'Hraparak', intense competition is underway for the position of Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, which will be established in the near future. The frontrunner is Deputy Minister of Diaspora Babken Ter-Grigoryan.
With the upcoming reorganization of the Ministry of Diaspora, it will merge with the Prime Minister's Office, creating the Office of the Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs within the staff.
This will be a state discretionary position, with the holder being subordinate and accountable to the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister has the authority to appoint and dismiss the commissioner.
The Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs must possess knowledge of at least two foreign languages, a minimum of five years of work experience, and a higher education degree.
It is noteworthy that Babken Ter-Grigoryan was born in Paris, raised and educated in the United States, and is known in the country for being an ardent participant in actions against Putin.
