Armen Sarkissian Secretly Supports 'Enlightened Armenia': Zhoghovurd

The newspaper “Zhoghovurd” reports: According to information from the newspaper, the President of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, has interests in the political arena of Armenia. Our sources claim that the President collaborates with the ‘Enlightened Armenia’ party and, in essence, secretly supports this political force.

It is said that he regularly meets with several deputies from the parliamentary faction of ‘Enlightened Armenia.’ However, representatives of the party denied this news in a conversation with “Zhoghovurd.” The secretary of the LHK faction, Gevorg Gorgisyan, responded to our question by stating, “Of course, Armen Sarkissian is our president, and we respect him very much, but such ideas and thoughts do not exist. I haven't even heard such discussions. This is the first time I’m hearing it from you.”
