Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the opening ceremony of the world-famous IHG hotel chain's "Holiday Inn Express" hotel in Yerevan.

Nikol Pashinyan welcomed the implementation of the investment project and the initiatives for the construction of new hotels in Armenia, which will provide high-quality services and comfortable conditions for tourists.

The Minister of Economic Development and Investments Tigran Khachatryan reported that the number of tourists arriving in Armenia reached 1.6 million in 2018, and the government's goal is to ensure a 7-10 percent annual growth in this sector.

Following this, the Prime Minister, accompanied by Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan, took a stroll in the park on Northern Avenue, familiarizing himself with the reconstruction works taking place there.
