Putin's Alternative Proposal to Pashinyan: Fact
The newspaper 'Fact' reports that the shipment of humanitarian aid from Armenia to Syria has caused significant uproar in the media and social networks.
Just the day before, Defense Minister David Tonoyan stated that the Armenian contingent in Syria is there on a humanitarian mission, but in certain circumstances, it may also participate in military operations.
This raises the question among the public as to why the Armenian side suddenly entered this 'topic'. According to 'Fact' newspaper sources, Prime Minister Pashinyan is trying to charm Russia and prevent Azerbaijan's entry into the CSTO.
Our source claims that after Pashinyan was elected Prime Minister, this issue was 'put in front of him' by Russian President Vladimir Putin, hinting that he is not opposed to seeing Azerbaijan in the CSTO, while suggesting that a degree of activity be shown in Syria as an alternative.
