Arpine Hovhannisyan Opens NGO to Address Concerns to PACE
The newspaper "Zhamanak" reports: "Former Republican Party member Arpine Hovhannisyan, in addition to her legal activities, intends to engage in human rights advocacy, and the newly established non-governmental organization is aimed exactly at that purpose.
Hovhannisyan, who previously served as the head of the Armenian delegation in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) and has maintained strong connections within PACE, aims to use this NGO to present concerns to the PACE monitoring committee, which she has already mentioned in the press several times.
The monitoring committee's next visit to Armenia is expected before March 15, and Hovhannisyan plans to meet with the committee not as a former MP but as the head of the NGO."
