Turkish-Azerbaijani Military Agreement Takes Effect

The President of Turkey has ratified the military agreement signed between Azerbaijan and Turkey last April. This was reported by the specialized site Razm.info, which further states that the agreement aims to establish cooperation at a new level in the following areas:

• Military education,
• Military-technical,
• Military intelligence.

Moreover, the document was signed not only by the defense ministries of the two countries but also by the Azerbaijani border service, which is equipped and staffed comparably to the military in that country.

According to the site, the law enforcement agencies of the two countries may participate in joint activities based on this document, as well as exchange staff from headquarters, academic personnel, and experts.
